Away from sprays for the Spring

Thanks to and introduction from the lovely Sarah from Essence Foods (Sarah makes delicious jams and marmalades) Essence Foods we were able to move some of our hives over to an organic apple orchard this weekend where they will be safely away from pesticides and sprays for the spring.
This helps us and it helps the manager of the orchard who is looking to improve the pollination of the crop.
We left the bees busily exploring in the Spring sunshine.
