Clever Man!

By Alison Jubb - 26 April 2015

Buried in North Norfolk is an amazing man called Richard King.

We came accross Richard through a mutual friend who had told us how detailed Richard's work is and how much care and attention goes into every little piece of his work.

Over the years, at farmers markets and festivals, we have noticed that whilst Mum's and Dad's taste our wares, little people get bored and fiddle with bits and bobs on the stall.  We thought it would be rather nice if we had something made specially for them to fiddle with.

Bring on Richard!  We asked for something bee related that would capture the imagination of the little ones.

Along came the Honey Machine - an old eartherware pot with a beautiful handle which turns four handmade wooden bees - made with the finest detail, unique and a thing of wonder.

At North Walsham Farmers Market today a little girl called Amelia was the first to try and it was a success, so thank you Richard, we hope lots of sticky little fingers will get to play this summer to their hearts content.
