Ali's original recipe, developed ten years ago.  This best selling mustard is hot and sweet, delicious with just about anything, particularly good with bacon, cheese and mushrooms on toast.


A smooth sweet, hot mustard singing with the flavours of a Dijon & the heat of an English. Blended with red chilli & garlic. Delicious with all meats, charcuterie and cheese.  Try adding to cheese sauces or gravy.  No bacon butty is complete without it.

Ingredients:   Vinegar, Mustard powder, sugar, Mardler’s Mild beer (contains barley malt), honey, rape seed oil, redcurrant & apple juice, peppercorns, salt, garlic,chillies & spices. Once opened store in the fridge and consume within 4 weeks.

Ali started developing our mustard recipes over a decade ago for Woodfordes Brewery and for Colmans Mustard Shop and Museum.  Our Jubberwacky range of mustard uses as many local ingredients as possible, were all 'invented' by Ali and are all homemade here on site at Pear Tree Cottage.  They are absolutely delicious with either cheese or with meat.  Bandersnatch is our best seller, a combination of hot and sweet, packed full of flavour.  A bacon butty is not complete without it!
