Bee Pollen  is heralded is heralded by many as one of nature's most powerful superfoods a great source of vitamins A, C, D, E, K, and all the B's plus minerals, proteins, amino acids, Omega 3 oils, folic acid and antioxidants.

It is important to separate Bee Pollen (entomophilic Pollen) from its close cousin which is airborne pollen (aneomophilic), the latter being the pollen that causes hay fever and other related allergies.

Pollen is available from us in two forms, granular bee pollen or powdered bee pollen.  The granules can be sprinked over cereal, desserts or mixed with yoghurt, the powder is better suited to combining with juices or smoothies.  The pollen will come to you in a resealable packet which needs to be stored in a cool dry place.

We recommend one tablespoon daily.

"Why do bees collect pollen?
Pollen is mixed with water and to form a type of bread that is fed to the growing larvae. It provides rich source of proteins and fat whilst honey provides energy (carbohydrate). Bees collect about 20kg of pollen every year that’s 1 million pollen loads at 20mg a go."
